Thanks so much for donating J.U.L.I.A. Among the Stars to the itch bundle for racial justice back in 2020. I got around to reviewing the game and posted a review here. Really creative piece of sci-fi fiction! I enjoyed it immensely.
Phenomenal game. If you're a fan of point-and-clicks in any capacity, I can't recommend this game enough. Great story to unravel, fully voice acted, clear interface, no "dream logic" puzzles to get stumped on because they make no sense. Each new area was a delight. Play this game!
This is one of the best sci fi games I've ever played. It has all the things I want from games about space exploration but never get. Analyzing samples of weird stuff to try to understand different worlds, alien life and environments that really seem alien. Basically, all the nerdy stuff and none of the space battles.
It's like someone took the planet scanning and planet exploration parts of Mass Effect and made them actually interesting by adding a satisfying story, alien mysteries, and fun puzzles.
This just became one of my favorite games. I love the characters and the story and can't wait to replay it.
Donc c'est Lone Echo le clone ! :-) Ton jeu est vraiment bien fichu, je vais le prendre, ça me fera bosser mon anglais. Je suis aussi un tout petit studio car je suis seul.....
Absolutely gorgeous game! The story was told in a way that is extremely satisfying. I'm glad there's a hintbook for when I don't have a partner around to point out obvious solutions I'm overlooking.
This game is going down as one of my all-time favorite games, ever. I enjoy a good point and click adventure, but this one truly takes the cake. the art, the soundtrack, the voice acting, all of those are brilliantly done, but for me the way each puzzle and how the point-and-click mechanics and limitations were integrated into the story line caught my attention and held it through gameplay.
Though I saw a few of the plot twists coming miles away, I didn't care. They were handled so well and fit perfectly into the story line. The world this game swept me into was one I'm still thinking about, weeks after finishing the game. To say this game is well-written is an understatement. It's a work of art.
I loved playing it. I loved hunting down the clues, solving the mystery, every puzzle and each interaction between the characters.
Five dollars is absurdly cheap for all the entertainment this game brought me. I'm glad that I found it in the BLM bundle and tried it on a whim--I hope everyone who reads this tries this game and has as much fun as I did playing it
A great point and click adventure. I really enjoyed the first half of the game. The story gets a little off the rails mid late game and their are some not so fun mini games there as well. But, the visuals and voice acting are really enjoyable and the when a puzzle is fun its alot of fun. Would recomend a play though if your a point and click adventure fan.
I ended up using Play On Linux to launch it and give it a play though. Would have been nice to get the Linux version as well though. Native is always better.
As doublej42 said, go to the bundle page and search for the game. It should be available through there. I hope itch.io will manage to pair the games, but I understand that nobody would expect how much this will expand. Let me know if you still have issues.
It's a false positive. The installer uses Inno Setup and the game itself uses QT for launcher and Wintermute Engine for the game. I tried to scan it with NOD Antivirus and no alarms registered. I packed it last night and had no issues.
I was however looking into this a bit more, and it seems that Norton issues this warning for some C++ programs (Wintermute engine is a C++ engine after all).

Hi, I am really enjoying this game but think I may have broken it!
...actually, ignore that, problem solved...off to build some kind of scanner to get off this dreadful place!

On Steam the game is also available for Linux, why is it missing here?

The Linux version is available on gog.com too.
I hope it can be added here at some point.
I've buy the bundle but when i want to download this game it says that i have to buy it again. Im logged in so what is happening??

Hi! You're probably trying to download the game from the game's page. You have to download the game from the bundle's page in your library instead.
U go to your library > my purchases
While installing my Norton alerts me of Sonar.heuristic.170 which is indicated to have a high risk. How is that possible?

OK, thanks for clearing this up!
Installed it, No problems indeed.
Game look lovely! Thanks
